Description | Reporter: magusgamer69 Testing some stuff for city I was playing around with blue horror buff and noticed it not working on mist/torando and decided to investigate on mobs. After sort of confirming it on mobs i got someone to duel me for a better idea, mist was placed in the same exact spot and the other person inched in till the mist hit them without the blue horror buff (first pic). Then did the same for the mist placed with 8 stacks of blue horror buff and the location at which they started to take damage was exactly the same so mist is only getting the -% to range but not the radius increase. I tested the buff with PBAoE abilities like tentacle lash and infernal wave and it worked fine. These skills don't actually have a range attached to them just an AoE radius. My suspicion is this might be why skills like mist/nado that have actual ranges to be casted at a point aren't working... only 1 part of the horror buff is applied which is the negative one. Commenter: Kaelang I think I'm missing something here. Blue Horror increases the spread of your DoTs. In the pictures, the mist is quite evidently larger, and the other player is still taking damage. Please can you confirm what you're meant to be showing here, as from the pics this looks as if it's working as intended? |

Commenter: magusgamer69 I've tested this on mobs and 2 different players. Mist and tornado triple checked do not at all receive any increased radius from blue horror stacks. The ability itself states >Increases the radius of your AoE abilities by 6.25% to a maximum of 50%... Im not sure in what world mist and Firestorm aren't AoE abilities. As far as the visual indication it seems like mist has some wonky spread sometimes when applying the debuff to new targets and isn't actually indicative of it's real range. |

This issue is being closed as it should be fixed in the new ability system. Please create a new issue if this is not the case. | |
