Commenter: lilimx Note from Bejkon: Swift Strikes is a 3s(7hit) melee channel, of which the duration is supposed to be extend to 5s(11hit) if the user is under the effect of VoN while Swift Strikes is initially cast. If VoN is applied, Swift Strikes functions as expected and becomes a 5s channel with a 5s castbar. it can be cancelled by the player and is interruptable etc for the full 5s. standard in every way. If Swift Strikes is cast without VoN, it gets the 3s channel/castbar as expected and during these 3s it acts as normal. However, if it is allowed to finish the full 3s, the ability seem to end on for the caster but on the reciving end it still keeps on going for another 2s. allowing the SW to do other stuff while still hitting the target with Swift Strikes going in the background. These last 2s doesnt act as a channel, nor do they cost any AP. So apart from the 25% extra damage from VoN its always better to use SS outside of VoN |
