This is a bit of a speculation-bug-report based on other player reports and this thread: https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=47122. I am unable to test it myself.
**Expected behavior and actual behavior:**
The tactic is:
Actual: Seemingly, when this tactic reapplies the expired effects, the Bright Wizard can also re-cast the ability to get a second copy of the effect. with good (perfect) RNG this could allow the copies to build up and up.
Expected: The effects reapplied by Smoldering Embers should not be unique and should be treated the same as those cast by the BW who has the tactic in, so if Smoldering Embers triggers and then the BW casts the same ability, the BW cast should refresh/replace the version applied by Smoldering Embers rather than create a second version.
**Steps to reproduce the problem:**
Equip Smoldering Embers tactic, cast one of the 3 effects listed on it and wait for the tactic to reapply an effect once it expires. Once reapplied, cast the same ability and see if it creates a second copy. |
