Summary | 0009484: General Mechanic's - Morale Pump rule not working for most classes | ||||
Description | Reporter: Pxl555 As per https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=52&t=16694 [Morale] Morale regenerates at 10 points per second. The rate of Morale regeneration is further increased by the following factors: - Number of players in your group - Number of enemies nearby (bonus begins at 18 enemies and caps at 72 enemies) The above factors are multiplicative, with the maximum scaler being x3.6 for 36 morale per second. No bonus will be received for being solo in a field of enemies, nor will a bonus be received for having a group with less than 18 enemies in range. [Morale Pumps] The value of any ability, morale or tactic component that modifies Morale is multiplied by the above morale scaler divided by 3.6. This means that morale pumps and drains only use their tooltip value when the morale scaler is the maximum of 3.6x. **How it should work (Archemage):** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmT7CJZuvDU - low scaler (250/3.6 =0000019:0000070 morale per cast) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IKeOhk5U2x8 - higher scaler **How it behaves on 2 example bugged classes:** BW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCvULVtf14I (full value with low scaler) Chosen: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWyrSIXAYsE (full value with low scaler) In the above video's both chosen and BW recieve full morale(200) from tactic's that modify morale with a low scaler , yet they should behave exactly as the AM one and follow the rules outline in general mechanic's about morale pump's.In this case they should recieve 200/3.6=0000016:0000055 morale/proc instead of 200. Additional classes that i found are bugged in regards to morale pump's : **Shaman: Get Movin'!** - reward's the full morale value for the entire group even with low scaler **Black Ork: Youz see me blok' dat!** - rewards the full value even with low scaler **Sorceress: Glorious Carnage** - rewards the full value even with low scaler I can provide video's for those above as well if prompted.As of right now i have not found a single class except for the AM that follows the rule( as such i have reported it together instead of multiple reports) , i have not tested SH, WL or Zealot (WL/SH was harder to check due to lower base value's). | ||||

Commenter: roadkillrobin Ehm, are you testing these in the RVR lake? Coz that deffentily not the same morale gain i get when solo PVE mobs. Edit, Yes it seems like some tactics are ignoring the scalers. I remember they worked when it changed, so something have made em bug out |
