Description | Reporter: Babanim Please take a look at this thread, many people agree and all the problems are well discussed and explained here: https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=35289 Both Offensive Sov and Warlord have very similar roles. They both have offensive set bonuses while having nothing but defensive stats on the actual items. Since we have 3 new sets for tanks, I think they should be very different from each other and fill different roles. 1- A defensive S/B large scale set 2- An hybrid large scale set (offensive S/B or defensive 2H) 3- A small scale scenario/6v6 offensive 2H set Right now, we have a 1, two 2s and no 3, sadly. One of the big problems is that both Warlord and offensive Sovereign have Toughness as the main stat. Toughness is not useful in small scale pvp and at least one set should be focused on small scale. Look at Bloodlord, it only has 1 item with toughness on it. Everything else on Bloodlord is useful for 2H small scale spec. Also, they lack initiative a lot. And please get rid of the HP regen on offensive gear. While it's nice to have some useful defensive stuff (parry, reduced chance to be crit) on an offensive 2H set, the main role should be the offense. Stats like melee crit, armor penetration, auto-attack modifiers should be present on the very end game gear like Sovereign or Warlord (whichever is dedicated to small scale pvp). ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/57642385/74679723-a2fd4500-518c-11ea-8441-1c777bcb3d8d.png) ![image](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/57642385/74680045-8b728c00-518d-11ea-9552-01fc8285a0a4.png) It would be really nice to have those great set bonus from offensive Sov but with good stat distribution on the items. Either Warlord or Offensive Sov should simply be an upgraded version of Bloodlord. Bloodlord 2.0 if you want. (Interestingly, I think that the stats distribution from DoK Warlord gear would fit 2H dps tanks really nicely ! There are almost no useless stats, lots of str/ws/ini/wounds and very little toughness. It's got 4% parry on the chest, melee crit on shoulders, gloves and cloak, armor pen on the jewel, wow! This is what 2H tanks truely need for scenarios/6v6. The only things that should change are: 1. The 2% dodge on the boots could be 2% parry instead 2. 5 AP regen on the helm could be 2% reduced chance to be crit) | ||||
