Summary | 0015724: [City Siege] Altdorf Stage 1 infight / morale pump bug
Description | Reporter: bosli42 In the Altdorf siege instance 10 we just had, the whole warband of orders defending the city abused some kind of bug on the center statue flag to stay in combat and permanently have their morale maxed. We did 5 or 6 "fights", and after the second one we checked players and combat logs because they bombed us way too hard. The exact second we engaged, I saw at least two healers use Focused Mind by tabbing through, when they should not have been infight at all. Also, in one of the fights where they didn't try to conceal it much, they morale bombed our warband with BW morales 3 and 4 before we even had morale 1 ready. In the other fights, they tried waiting until we maybe reached our morale 2, so we maybe wouldn't notice anything. They did not have a single archmage to morale pump. Some of our warband saw all of them suspiciously clumped inside the western cannon multiple times, before they saw us coming and moved towards us. Their damage numbers did not seem to rise to stay in combat, I tried to check that multiple times, however they kept using AoE abilities. Not only the BWs to stay ignited, but every other player too. So there has to be an object, probably below the floor, that they were able to attack, maybe for 0 damage so you cannot even tell by the scoreboard, to stay infight. This was the most frustrating siege I played yet, where the enemy BLATANTLY abused a bug so they are pretty much impossible to beat. And that by an apparantly "respected" player and streamer. They did NOT keep it at one abuse, to maybe clarify it, but kept doing it over and over, at least five times, and they won't stop doing this if it's not fixed ASAP and hopefully punished in some way. We do not have a video recording, but when someone of our warband told it in /t4, multiple players answered that something similar happened in other sieges by the same person / their warband.

Commenter: Tesq stage 2 aswell its a spot near cannon on 3rd flag as i show in this screen ![Tesq_041](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/7527415/74792674-62054d80-52be-11ea-994c-0388ae5d73b4.jpg) they gather all there spamming heals, hold the line , and aoe ; i was able to screen em towards the end of stage 1 where we given up cuz was clear something was off, they were doing the same in step 2 waiting us there so we didnt engage and bring fight elsewhere, in step 3 they werent able to replicate it either due timing or different location. Posting here as im suspended from forum and cant send message to gm tough no name show in the screen |

Commenter: kalmatar Devs added a Halloween event item back in 2017 or 18, which dropped from the event to players who earned it either from drop or from finishing event influence . you can use said Skull item to dmg allied players, and it has no CD. the dmg is minor 15-20 dmg, but since it can fire on allies it will place both thrower + target into combat. not sure if this item made ever sense, but apparently people now re-discovering this item since it allows you to pre-build morales in city fights. |

Commenter: kalmatar https://www.returnofreckoning.com/armory/item/192555 found the item from database, it was most likely halloween 18 item drop unless I remember wrong. normal event items do not allow hitting friendly targets, this does. |

Commenter: Tesq oh yes i remember that , that's a ugly behaviour. |
|
Commenter: Ootootoo Funny that you comment here, Tesq, when you have been blatantly abusing all possible bugs in your Warbands in the city and outside. |

Commenter: raptrr This is not a chat, please keep stuff, not related to the issue, out of the Bugtracker. |

Commenter: Zomega-WAR The full chain is: 1) A DoK / WP with a shield uses the Blood of my Blood / Sacrifice ability. This puts them in combat and start generating morale. 2) Tanks use hold the line on said DoK / WP. This puts the tanks in combat and start generating morale. 3) Healers then start healing the tanks which then puts all of the healers in combat and start building morale. 4) DPS have to use items like Lobbin Noggin on one of the tanks or healers to put themselves in combat to start building morale. Lobbin Noggin might be able to bypass the need for Blood of my Blood / Sacrifice but I don't have one to test. The quicker this can be fixed the better as it's already being used by top warbands to generate morale before the fight begins (I saw the Lobbin Noggin used by a popular streamer who has since hidden/deleted the VOD after I reported it to a GM). This seems to favour order more as if they can start with Solar Flare up on their Knights then they can deny the incoming morale bomb of any destro trying to use the same trick. |
