**Expected behavior and actual behavior:**
I was playing my character named "Xyl" a day ago and previous to that. Today, when trying to select the character, it says name must be changed due to duplicate name.
**Steps to reproduce the problem:**
Unsure how to reproduce. I was playing the character just the day previously so unsure why name is considered a duplicate and being made to change it.
Wargrimnir from discord confirmed it was not due to GM activity.
