Hello, was this issue ever investigated? Same thing happened to me, a character I made on Sunday (09.02.2025) has been forced to rename. I noticed it when logging in on monday evening. The character's name was "Dokay". Now I have it left in the pending rename state with the name on character screen showing up as "Dokay67A9C41E" (I haven't set a new name). Trying to set the name back to "Dokay" doesn't work, and I am also unable to create a new character with this name. Armory doesn't show anything for the nickname. I wonder if it's in some kind of a "limbo"? |

Ah, I have a habit of first just trying out nicknames, and then deleting the character and remaking it proper (with appropriate appearance). I must have also done this in this case. Don't think I observed anything odd, so I would guess my little stunt must be the culprit. Are you able to manually "delete" that problematic character (I personally don't see anything on my character screen), and reinstate the name to the proper one? |

Or I just thought that maybe I should contact a GM for a character restoration of that character? And then I would delete it from the character screen. As that is not exactly a dev issue I think :D |

Yes I think it would be best to reach out to a GM for this, either on Discord or through the in-game appeals system. |
