I've run into this too - to clarify, Shroud of Magus makes you disrupt all spells by raising your disrupt chance to 100% (so no new magic can hit you) and you become immune to spell damage (existing magic effects on you do no damage). However the immunity to spell damage check is triggering before the disrupt check, so when a new spell is cast on you, it is defended as "immune" instead of "disrupt". This breaks the synergy with the Vindication tactic, which is supposed to trigger on disrupts and seems explicitly designed for use with Shroud since WH has no natural disrupt. |
