Description | Recently, numerous reports from different players suggest that the occurrence chance of the Increasing Impetus proc is noticeably different from what it used to be. Certain classes like Archmage (AM) and Shaman were previously able to reproduce this proc frequently, particularly when hitting a stacked dummy spot with EoV or FoTG (hitting four targets and healing for each hit). This build has been the best in slot for Zealot and Rune Priest (RP) for years, but for AM and Shaman, it was always a high-investment build. These classes had to sacrifice important abilities, such as Puddle or Magical Infusion for AMs, and the Toughness HoT for Shamans, in exchange for a chance of reduced cast times. This (yet to be proven) reduction in frequency has made this set much less viable considering it's a quite high investment of 6 pieces and most likely requiring also the expensive jewelery. The cast time reduction proc available to healer classes, excluding DoK or WP, seems to have undergone some variable changes that might be tied to the ability rework patch. Could this be checked please? Some further details of how it used to work: 1) In the best case this proc provides a 0,6 sec casttime reduction to a 2,5 sec cast, 0,5 secs to a 2 sec cast. 2) It used to proc on any direct healing& direct damage done. Which included all life taps (individual chance for damage component and healing component), healing masterrune/ritual (as these also proc class related procs currently). 3) The chance for a proc was significantly higher when used as group heal in comparison to a single heal as every healed target in rage used to have an individual chance to proc it. | ||||

This issue is still ongoing which is ruining a major gear path for 4/6 healing classes. Please confirm if this nerf was intended or fix it so that new healers can be viable again. | |
