Summary0025243: Mastery Build Switch does not actually load Tactics
DescriptionWhen using the Career Trainer feature, Mastery Build Switch, tactics are not actually loaded. This can be demonstrated by removing all tactics from slot 1, loading a mastery via the Mastery Switcher window (tactics will be shown to be loaded into slot 1, with an error message in the chat "This ability has a prerequisite."), switching to a new tactic slot (2-5), and then switching back to slot 1. Slot 1 will be empty of the tactics it had just shown to be loaded. It is also visible when (after loading a mastery) hovering over tactic slot 1 (or whatever tactic slot was active at the time the mastery was loaded) from the expanded tactic slot UI.

If, after switching masteries as demonstrated above, a single tactic is removed from the active tactic slot (that the mastery tactics were loaded into) the three remaining tactics will "stick" and actually be loaded into that tactic slot. The fourth tactic can then be manually placed into the remaining slot.

I looked into this a while ago and confirmed this looks intentional on the client UI code. It seems like it's intended that loading a mastery won't overwrite a saved tactics slot, which leads to this weird behavior. I tried some fixes but couldn't really figure out a clean way of doing it that doesn't overwrite a slot, which is probably what we should end up doing to avoid this weird state where you can have active tactics that don't exist in a slot.

Yea, we should probably have it overwrite active tactics because this false-tactic behavior still occurs even when the chosen tactic row was completely empty prior to loading the new mastery.
