Summary0025483: Sentinel's Skill talisman not converted to Melee Crit in Assault stance
DescriptionThe soulstone-purchased talisman "Sentinel's Skill" that provides +5% ranged crit chance does not increase melee crit chance. The verbiage of Assault Stance refers to, "...ranged prowess item stats will count towards your melee prowess in a 1 to 1 conversion". This does not seem to be following that pattern.
Steps To ReproducePlay as a Shadow Warrior.
Purchase "Sentinel's Skill" talisman.
Insert talisman into appropriate jewelry
Start in Scout stance.
Use .getstats or look at paperdoll to view ranged and melee crit chance
Equip jewlery with before-slotted talisman
Swap to Assault Stance
Use .getstats or look at paperdoll to view ranged and melee crit chance
Observe ranged crit chance increases, while melee does not
Additional InformationIt's possible this is intentional, but if so, the verbiage should be changed on Assault stance. However, if it is intentional, I think there is a strong case to make it work as I assumed it would.

There's the descriptive text which anchors the expections.
The class is meant to swap back and forth between stances, ranges, etc... it feels doubly punishing to both gate abilities out from usage and to make a subset of them even less useless when doing the extra work.
The unification of the renown skill into one would indicate a unification for game balance that should either be duplicated here (offensive crit talisman), or for it function the same as any other gear.
Assault is arguably the least performative of the three builds and could use with a slight uptweek.
