Summary0025497: Divine Favor Altar not usable
DescriptionIf you claim a castle and add the altar upgrade, the altar can bug out and display the message “someone is already preparing to use the altar”.

This happens if, when you click on the altar, you choose not to use the charge. After that, this error message appears and prevents the remaining altar charges from being used.

If the altar upgrade is removed, the altar can be clicked again, although the remaining charges are lost.

THanks for the report. However there is nothing we can do on that front as client does not send the no back. The altar should be available after 60 seconds however.
If that is not the case please reply back.

Thanks to the whole team for fixing the bugs. I’m just doing my part by reporting the bugs I find :D

Indeed, after waiting 1 minute, the message appears again and the altar can be activated.

Closing the ticket then as its not something we can address currently.

(Its the same with any prompts as the system needs to then wait for the timeout to actually do what no is supposed to do)

Thanks for the report.

Hi again,

I wrote this morning’s post from memory because it failed for us last night, and this morning I started testing again and thought the issue had happened to me again.

After the message you posted, I tested it and it was indeed working.

But now I went back to the keep to check the maximum number of available charges — I hadn’t been there since my last message almost an hour ago — and the message saying that someone is using it has appeared again.

I waited for more than a minute, but the altar still cannot be used.

I logged out and tested it with several characters, and the error persists.

The clips you sent in the second one you dont let it pass a full minute so hard to tell from that clip.
The first clip however the altar is alreay there and just as in the second clip you dont wait a full minute but I think I see the potential issue.

By any chance could someone that had access to the alter pressed it and before a full minute passed they crashed other logged out?

No, nobody clicked the altar during the time between the start and the end of the second video.

I am sure of this because my guildmates and I had been discussing the issue in guild chat all morning. Everyone was aware of the bug, specifically so that nobody would click the altar while we were testing it.

However, if you think it would be useful, we can record another longer video to show the bug happening again.

After recording the video, we removed the altar upgrade, waited for it to be deconstructed, and then activated it again. After doing that, the altar worked correctly and the “No” bug did not occur.

At the moment, after “rebuilding” the altar, it seems to be working normally, even when clicking “No”.

I will continue testing tomorrow.

I will (if I have time try and replicate it today) most likley is someone disconnected or where otherwise crashed before the no timer expired. Thats the only viable issue I can see at least currently.
