| Summary | 0025587: "Killboard gives a solo kill to a previous enemy after I die from fall damage minutes later." | ||||
| Description | I killed an enemy player and the combat was completely over. Around 4 minutes later, I died from fall damage while not being in combat with that player anymore. The combat leave timer is only around 30-45 seconds, but the killboard still credited that enemy with a solo kill on me. This happens every time I encounter this exact situation its not the first time this time i decided to make a post. It seems like the previous enemy remains linked to the death attribution system for much longer than intended. Expected behavior: After combat leave, a player should not receive a solo kill for an environmental death that happens several minutes later. Actual behavior: The previous enemy receives the solo kill on the killboard, affecting solo kill/death statistics. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | The issue seems related to kill attribution conditions. The enemy needs to tag me with damage,i need to remain in the same area and not log out. After combat ends and several minutes pass, a fall damage death is still incorrectly credited as a solo kill for that enemy. It only works if its a single 1v1 situation. If someone interfere in a fight it won't give credit. | ||||
