Description | Reporter: Lokenoth When stood here on the steps that lead up to the keep room your camera has no collision on the interior wall allowing it to pass through the interior wall. Not only disrupting your ability to defend on the stairs, but it also gives the advantage of being able to easily spy through the mesh and see groups outside the walls themselves from the safety of the keep interior. Commenter: Lokenoth Can't seem to find anything to suggest either way! Just as a side question, is there a reason why things that were broken in launch can't be fixed now? I'm assuming we don't have access to the objects in whatever Terrain editor they were using? |

Commenter: wargrimnir That would be correct. Without being able to modify the client, some issues like this will persist. This particular issue probably isn't something that could be fixed by modifying the structure, and would be more related to how the camera works in general, a much more nuanced task I'm sure. |

Commenter: Lokenoth @wargrimnir See I was thinking it could possibly be that some of the Polys on the keeps wall may not of been tagged correct;y allowing collision with players and not the camera itself. If it was directly related to a camera issue I'd expect o see it more often in other places. Or at least see the issue duplicated in all keeps of the same build. Do you think there is any chance we will be able to get at whatever editor they used or made in the future? |
