Tested it again today, looks like its restoring 24 ap now instead of 48. 12 ap on the first and second tick, last tick and the initial apply doesnt give ap now.

Confirmed from testing today with chanelled abilities that it definitely only grants 24 AP (2x 12 ticks) and the last 2 ticks grant 0 AP.
