Summary0021140: Chapter 9 dark elf quest bug - Reclaiming A Birthright
DescriptionDuring the the phase of Reclaiming A Birthright (Chapter 9 Dark Elv quest), in which one has to travel to Tor Elyr and recover the gem from Lasendis' Urn as well as kill the guardian protecting it, if the player spawns the guardian via the urn and dies before slaying the guardian, the guardian will disappear making the quest uncompleteable. Since this is a follow-up quest, simply abandoning and accepting the quest again is impossible. Abandoning the quest leads to the quest vanishing permanently, because there is only a quest giver for the first step of the quest, not for the later stages.
Steps To ReproduceComplete the string of quests until the gem has to be recovered, click on the urn and die before slaying the guardian

Thank you for your report. The issue with the Chapter 9 Dark Elf quest "Reclaiming A Birthright," where the guardian disappears if the player dies before slaying it, making the quest uncompletable, has been fixed in a previous patch.
