Description | Hej, SW's stances now work as toggle abilities, which makes it easy to accidentally dubble tap a stance, leaving you with all stances on a 5s CD and no stance active. I even have it setup to prevent this by havin the stances on actionbar 1 and excluding the stance in currently in, since this hurdle has been present before. Even with that its somehow still possible to enter-exit a stance before the actionbar changes. In the old system it was not possible to use the same stance you were already in, to become stanceless. Once you entered your first stance on login, you were stuck with one of them until you logged out, which is not an issue. I checked on mara and they have a different system with no risk of accidentally ending up without a mutation. /Bejk I'm not sure this is a bug. either way, it would be neat if you were blocked from using scout stance in scout stance, etc. | ||||

Commenting to say that Knight's Battle Commands work exactly like this and would be nice if they functioned like the Mara/White Lion stance swaps instead of risking double tapping/removal. | |
With the old system I had similar bug, when stances dropped randomly and left your character without active stance, preventing to use most abilities. Now Stances are removed by selecting the same, wich is especially problematic since there is no visual clue you are in a specific stance, and if you dont use addons like Aura, without paying much attention to your action bar (using shortcut as most people I guess), you can accidentaly remove your stance, and if you select the same stance you left, nothing happens saving triggering a GCD, wich basically make changing stances a nightmare. Stances should be locked (i.e when in one stance, accidentaly selecting it again wont trigger anything), and should only be switchable by selecting a different stance. You should not be left without active stance, or add another ability to leave all stances (I dont think it will be very efficient since most of abilities are stance-locked). |

Hi i noticed that too and tested around it more detailed: see 21950 (i guess we have 2 tickets now for the same issue) it happens and can be reproduced if you use a casttime ability and try to stanceswitch before the cast is finished. (also a reason why you cant duplicate the behaviour on marauder) |

The issue with Shadow Warrior stances working as toggle abilities, which could lead to accidentally ending up without a stance, has been fixed in a previous patch.
