Description | Depending on how your hostile target leaves your cone of fire, the channelled ability might stop immediately or it might still continue to channel. Examples: 1) If the target leaves the cone of fire due to movement, e.g. you step forward and the angle between you and the target goes from 89 degrees to 91 degrees, then the channel ends. 2) If the target leaves the cone of fire due to the attacking player turning then the channel will continue even though the target is now outside the COF. There seems to be an eventual cut-off point for the angle but I do not know what it is. Screenshots attached: 1) "start.png" shows the starting position 2) "step.png" shows the outcome of one step forward - the channel is stopped after 2 ticks 3) "turn.png" shows the outcome when the player turns using the right mouse button. The channel continued for all 6 ticks even though the target is way out of COF. | ||||
