Summary | 0022168: Range mis-match between the client and server for abilities | ||||
Description | The server is allowing abilities to trigger that the client believes are out of range. An "out of range" message appears but the ability still fires. Not lag related as it happens when standing still. Screenshot attached showing it with a Squig Herder's "Plink" ability although it is a general issue. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Walk out of range of an ability and then try to use it. There is a period where the client says no but the server says yes. | ||||

While this was a problem for a while, I think the new changes have helped the latency issue. If you do not believe that to be so feel free to reopen ticket. Thank you Emissary |

My Squig Herder is literally still standing in the same spot when I took that screenshot. I just tried it again now and I am getting the same out of range messages while still being able to attack. I am standing still when doing so. | |
