The damage is reduced, it's just not shown as mitigation as toughness reduces the incoming damage directly. You took "pure" damage because the BW stripped your corp resist with the Ignition tactic. An upgraded Boiling Blood with max combustion and 0 resist would hit for over 2k otherwise. |

If you had 0 Corporeal Resistance, then your Toughness mitigated 87 damage. Because Boiling Blood has very high base damage, Toughness does relatively little mitigation on it. Your 600 Toughness has roughly a mitigation of 180. But that number is cut in half because you either detaunted the target or were guarded. So 87 seems quite legit. Also, in this older screenshot the mitigation from Toughness was incorrect for Crits. That has been fixed since. |
