Summary | 0022509: 4 bugs on Magus' Pandemonium ability | ||||
Description | I decided to gather them all in one report instead of splitting them because I suspect that they are connected to each other. All these are classified as bugs because the make the ability behave differently compared to how the ability was pre-new ability reword. If some are intentional, please clarify so in the patch notes. 1. Pandemonium reapplication due to Endless Pandemonium happens on single target only, instead of the 20 ft reapplication around the target. 2. Pandemonium can be removed (randomly) if you keep reapplying it. 3. Reapplying Pandemonium before it ends results in duration increase (up to 18s) 4. You cannot stack more than 1 Pandemonium per target per Magus (by applying it to different grouped up enemies) | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | 1. Go to the target dummies in IC. Pick 2 that are next to each other. Apply Pandemonium (with Endless slotted). Wait for it to end. Repeat until only 1 dummy has Pandemonium from the reapplication (ST reapplication from only 1 of the 2 rolls). 2. Unsure how to properly replicate. Go to the same 2 dummies in IC. Keep using pandemonium and alternating between the targets until it happens. It happens usually after 3 to 10 rotations. 3. Pick a dummy. Keep using Pandemonium on it. Monitor the duration of the ability (should go from 15 to 16 to 17 to 18 s). Haven't tried it in conjunction with FTWK. Maybe it can go above 18 s too. 4. Go to the same 2 dummies in IC. Use Pandemonium on one of them, both get a stack. After 5 s, use Pandemonium on the other one. Now, unlike before where both dummies would have 2 stacks of it, the duration of Pandemonium on both dummies just resets. | ||||
Additional Information | A lot of these seem similar to the Inevitable Doom bugs. Maybe similar solutions can be applied here. | ||||

After some conversations with other players, I was told that no. 3 is intended and that no. 1 and no. 4 were bugs in the previous system. In that case, since they majorly affected the strength of the ability, I believe they should be listed as bugfixes in the December 9th Patch Notes (https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=52129&sid=e04d157f6700dddf97203626ec2f8ea7) No.2 should still be correctly labelled as a bug and needs to be fixed. |
