| Description | Advanced search is here: https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/search.php Tested with a basic regular user account. Search term: Windblock When using the advanced search with no forums selected (e.g. it searches all of them), results work as expected. However, when you start picking subforums the results then often fail to show up, even though the same topics in those sub-forums appear when searching all forums. Test cases below. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | All tests performed within advanced search: https://www.returnofreckoning.com/forum/search.php. Make sure to do Ctrl+F5 between each test to clear any previously selected forums. Test 1: in the "Search for keywords" section, type "windblock" (without quotes) and change nothing else. Then press search. You will get results from all sections, including the changelogs section. Test 2: in the "Search for keywords" section, type "windblock" (without quotes) and then select the "Changelogs" forum section to search within that section. Then press search. You get no results. Test 3: as above but select the entire hierarchy for the "Return of Reckoning" section (starts at "Return of Reckoning" and ends with "Development") and then press search. No results found. Test 4: as above but select every single forum and sub-forum (starts at "Return of Reckoning" and ends with "Closed") and then press search. It now finds things again. | ||||
