Description | Hi, This applies to abilities such as: Mara Rend WE Envenomed Blade WH Fervor Knight Blazing Blade +similars i cant think of atm These abilities currenty resets the DoT tick interval each time the are reapplied rather than following the "improved dot handling" rules. This becomes a problem since you want to stack them three times in alot of situations. As long as you keep using the ability within 3s of the last time you did, you'll never see any damage from the DoT. How it is now, stacking to 3 and gettting any value out of the DoT: GCD1: DD GCD2: DD GCD3: DD GCD4: .... GCD5:1st DoT tick How it should be: GCD1:DD GCD2:DD GCD3:DD+DoT This bug was fixed in a recent patch but seem to have made it's way back into the game. /Bejk | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Stack 3 of any stackable DoT with a >1.5s interval and measure the time it takes to see the first DoT tick. Alternatively: Spam one of the abilities and see that there never is a DoT tick. | ||||

I can't seem to reproduce this, while the timer does tick back up it correctly preserves the original tick interval. | |
Weird. It doesn't seem consistent. I didn't test all of them before making the report, so my bad for assuming. I found it with Rend and went to confirm with EB on WE. When that acted the same i assumed it was affecting all of them. I just tested Guilty Soul on WP, which was one of the effect previously fixed, and that still seem to work fine. I did test Fervor and i managed to get it to delay the dot indefinably(see attatched). After more testing I did notice that if i increase the time between the first and second or second and third hit by just a fraction of a second more than i would if spamming the key, the DoT does tick right before the third application. If i spam it fast enough, i get nothing. This applies to Rend/EB/Fervor. I did not test Blazing Blade. |
