| Summary | 0025211: SCs not popping for Group | ||||
| Description | My guild and I had a guild group yesterday, as we do almost every Sunday. We usually alternate between OpenRvR and SCs. Unfortunately, only one SC opened for our group over the course of two hours yesterday, even though there were enough archetypes registered on the opposing side. When we registered for solo SCs on a trial basis, some of us were able to join. I am aware that the change in the SC system is intended to promote balance, but it is important to me that it does not disadvantage groups who want to play together. As long as 2/2/2 are registered on the opposing side, SCs should also start for groups, regardless of whether they are group or single queues. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Queue as Group at a Low Population time when the Enemy Side only Single Queues | ||||
| Additional Information | We are a guild that tends to focus on small group play. If this problem persists in the long term, we see a real problem for the game's replay value. Experience shows that there is usually one Zerg zone with a high population, while the other zones are mostly quiet or deserted. If the SCs are now also removed as a playable option for small groups, some of us would certainly turn our backs on ROR. | ||||

| We have a similar experience throughout the whole week. We are a guild focusing on small scale, mostly SC and oRVR in between. We are usually playing in the evenings (EU prime time) and on the weekens in the morning, around lunch time. We usually build a 2/2/2 group. Last weekend we had one pop within two hours of playing. After two hours we quit because it got frustrating. During the week in the evenigs it is the same. 1 pop within two hours on three seperate evenings. We tried splitting the group (2 3-man) which led to one of them having a pop rather quickly but the other one not getting one. We tried solo queing on a weekend (4 of us got a pop for same SC - 2 did not). During Europe Prime Time there always used to be plenty premades on both sides - so even if the Queuing is waiting for other 6-men this shouldn't be a problem, especially in the evenings? We play this game to play with friends, so all of us soloqueing is not really a longterm option and will most likely lead to people quitting the game, since oRVR is mostly getting stomped by WBs especially in the evening or just running boxes in empty zones. Please fix the system so groups do not get excluded from playing the mayor content for groups. | |
