Summary | 0006369: Bank Vault/Backpack. Transferring stackable items
Description | Reporter: khazadson When you transfer items, that can be stacked (i. e. dyes, potions, talismans e. t. c.), from backpack to bank vault by right-clicking them, they don't stack with same items that already in the bank vault. I don't know if it's supposed to be working like that or not...

Commenter: noisestorm I am not sure either, but i could think about it being purposedly like this to prevent duping in some forms. |
Commenter: khazadson Well, if it's supposed to work like this, it's not an issue) |
Commenter: Elvenalthur If there already is an incomplete stack of the same item in the backpack/vault before moving them over, it will automatically fill the stack present in destination inventory. It did this on live so it's working fine as fair as I know. |

Commenter: khazadson The problem is - it doesn't work like this at this moment. If there already is an incomplete stack of the same item in the vault before moving them over, it **will not** automatically fill the stack present in destination inventory. It will fill another empty inventory slot in the bank. At least for me... |
Commenter: Elvenalthur OK, I think I see what you mean now. yes, it's not automatically stacking for me either. When you right click an item from one inventory to move it to the destination inventory, if there is an item of the same ID and has available space to stack it should stack. You can also add it to the backpack manually by dragging it to the spot you want to store it to bypass the automatic stacking, which it currently does, regardless. Is this right? |
Commenter: Luth6409 Worked like this on the mythic server for a while iirc; one day they fixed it. |

We seemingly cannot fix (as it seems client does not support it) drag and dropping to update a stack. We could probably solve right clicking but then it's a discrepancy on drag and drop and right click functionality. On top of this I thought it a feature that it does not update stacks so it would in my personal eyes be a step for the worse.
