| Description | Reporter: Skutrug I am not sure if it's a bug or a new feature, but after the big patch a few days ago I had a character (Skut) at 0000040:0000150 planting and potion crafting. I had not gotten healing seeds for that level and since buying them from the AH was in the 5-6 golds, I decided to grind my own from the basic 0 planting. I bought 20 from the basic crafting vendor and as I started harvesting them, I suddenly noticed that I was gaining skill levels although the seeds were way below my planting skill. I think with about 60 level 1 healing seeds I went from 150 to the max 200 in farming. Then as I started crafting the basic heal potions with my basic seeds and the resin I had made, I noticed that my Apothecary skill was also increasing, and by only crafting Level 5 and level 10 potions I went from 0000040:0000150 to 200. If I remember well one could only gain skills from seeds/potions that were right at your skill level, so for me it should have been 150 seeds and 150 potions. Skut was my only Farmer/apothecary so I have not been able to reproduce this. I did check with my talisment maker and salvager, and for both of them it seems that I get the best bang for crafting tali with fragments at my appropriate level, and trying to salvage objects for which I have 100% chance of success produces no increase in skill level.
